Australia

Once, while walking through a park on a hot day in Sydney, Australia, Becky and I were flagged down by a 30-something man with a handheld camera. Thinking perhaps he needed directions, we stopped to talk to him.

"Can I ask you ladies a favor?" he implored.

"Sure."

"Could you walk on my back in front of the camera? I would give you each ten dollars."

Becky and I just looked at each other, completely caught off-guard by this bizarre request.

Becky's response: "Is it okay if we don't?"

We walked away quickly, unsure of what had just happened. My favorite part is that Becky asked permission to NOT walk on someone's back on camera.

Also, we later agreed we would not do it for $10 Australian, because that's just like $7 US. For $10 American dollars....well, that's an entirely different story.

And thus ended our one chance to be featured on www.walkonmyback.com.au.
